Engagement Session: Carissa + Mark

Today I am sharing from an engagement session I had with this adorable couple- Carissa and Mark! I love their story because it's somewhat uncommon. They met and dated in high school, went out into the adult world on their own, and life brought them back together! Mark proposed to Carissa with a scavenger hunt around the park that he had first met her back in high school (Right?! So friggin' sweet!) He had handwritten letters and clues for her and at the end of the scavenger hunt, her loved ones were there to witness the proposal! I can comfortably admit now that when I first heard the story I wanted to cry but I was trying to be professional and not scare the nice people away.

I love locations that have meaning to the couple so the park was a must-do for their engagement session! The second spot they chose was the Strathearn Historical Park and Museum where I've done a wedding before and I encourage everyone to visit! Carissa brought the notes that Mark had written for the scavenger hunt which are photographed under her beautiful ring in the last shot!

These two are so light, funny, and so kind and RCP is so excited to be a part of their fairytale wedding!

Locations: Rancho Simi Community Park and Strathearn Historical Park and Museum
